The first night we hung out together, just as friends, just four days after we had started talking to each other, we didn’t sleep. We were up all night after all of our friends went to bed. Up until 6am talking. We shared about ourselves, our childhoods, our fears, our secrets, our life stories. We just never got tired. But at 6am we decided we needed to sleep as we both had work the next day (we worked together, that is how we became friends). We only slept until 9am because he heard from his family that they got a new puppy. We decided we were going to go see it, well I decided that. We got to his house, I was an unexpected guest but his family was very welcoming. I was shy but talked as much as I could. I remember his mom asking him to do something and he told her no, I told him to go do it and not talk to his mom like that, and immediately I had won her over. After this day, we started hanging out everyday after that, and eventually I just kinda also lived there. His family loves to joke that they could never get rid of me. After just two weeks of hanging out everyday, and being together, but unofficially, we had both already fell in love. I remember the day so well. We were driving in the car back to his house, blasting Taylor Swift and singing so loud together, and you know ‘Sparks Fly’ (flew). We spent every single day learning more and more about each other, going on adventures, creating memories, being stubborn here and there, going through the ups and downs, laughing, and realized we wanted this forever. Me being the planner I am, I had a timeline of when I wanted to be engaged (after moving into our own place) and when I wanted to be married (anytime after I was 21), and as you see he checked both of those off the timeline. Now it is time to plan the next timeline, but of course after we officially check off the last box.
