Carson and Alexa's story began back in 2014 as two young teenagers. They met on an online chatroom and stayed in touch throughout the years. “When you know, you know” is a saying that sums up their story perfectly according to Alexa. She knew Carson was the one for her after their first conversation, but because of the distance between them Carson was weary to give it a go. Finally, in 2018 Carson came up to Michigan to meet Alexa and the rest is history. Fun fact, the picture shown above is the first picture they ever took together!

Today, Carson and Alexa live together in Cincinnati with their fur baby Dezi. After losing their first dog Ollie, they agreed to become fosters through the local humane society. So far, they have helped more than 10 dogs get adopted! Over the years, they have traveled to 4 different states and have gone back to Michigan to visit Alexa’s family plenty of times. They have both graduated from the University of Cincinnati with bachelor's degrees in accounting and communication sciences and disorders. Carson is now an accountant while Alexa is finishing up graduate school to become a speech therapist.
