This was the first message Alexa received from Mike, the day after they met at Sierra's birthday dinner. Alexa immediately called her sister Moriah to ask if she thought Mike liked her.

This was the first text message Alexa received from Mike.

As Mike became interested in Alexa and wanted to get to know her better, Alexa was apprehensive about getting involved with someone romantically. She wanted to be sure this was someone God would want her to be with. As Mike continued to pursue her for a few weeks, they soon went on their first date!

On this day, Mike & Alexa officially made their relationship exclusive and intentional, considering one another boyfriend and girlfriend. During their time spent together on many dates before this day, they both had so much in common and could clearly see each other's passion to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus! Now together, they could pursue the Lord, while learning to love one another like Jesus loves us.

Mike and Alexa's relationship continued to be full of coffee dates, cooking & baking, doing Bible studies together, and hiking around our favorite spots in Slippery Rock, PA.

As Mike and Alexa continued to date, Alexa's sister Moriah and Mike grew closer, enjoying many silly moments together!

Mike and Alexa both got extremely involved in Cru, a Christian ministry organization on SRU's campus. They both credit Cru for allowing their paths to cross! Here is a picture of Mike and Alexa with their friends on the leadership team for Cru.

In May 2023, Mike graduated from SRU with a degree in computer science. He is now working as an iOS Developer for Sheetz, which he loves so much!

Mike and Alexa both attended Cru's Fall Retreat which is a relaxing weekend getaway to learn more about Jesus and spend time in community! Little did Alexa know, Mike was in the process of buying a ring!

Mike and Alexa got engaged on October 5th at Leesburg Falls, a place they loved to go walking together often.
