Moriah is Alexa's best friend and older sister. Moriah is hands down the funniest person Alexa knows and has helped her grow so much in her faith in Jesus.

Alexa & Riley met through Cru at Slippery Rock University, where they served together on the servant team. Riley continually shows Alexa the value of vulnerable, authentic friendship.

Tori & Alexa met through Cru at Slippery Rock University on a hiking event. Through Bible studies and their love of SpongeBob, they quickly grew close!

Maddie & Alexa met through Cru at Slippery Rock University, where they served on the servant team together! Maddie's love for Jesus, ice cream, and her gentle spirit are just some of the things Alexa loves about her!

Mindy & Alexa met through Cru at Slippery Rock University. Mindy, a Cru intern at the time, discipled Alexa and directed her onto a path of spiritual growth! Mindy brings the life of the party to any group of people and lights up the world with her joyful spirit!

Kathryn & Alexa met through Cru via Zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic. Kathryn helped lead the first Bible study Alexa was ever a part of! Kathryn continues to pleasantly surprise Alexa with who she is. Alexa loves how humble Kathryn is and her quirks such as frequently doing handstands against walls!

Malorie & Alexa are cousins and close friends! Since babies, the two have grown up having many sleepovers, dressing up together for Halloween, and making dance routines! Malorie always knows how to make Alexa laugh!

Mike met Chad at a Cru weekly meeting, where they discussed why birds are not real. Through intense computer science classes, deep conversations, and getting involved in Cru's ministry, they quickly developed a bond in brotherhood that will last a lifetime. Mike values the numerous meaningful experiences they've shared in only a few years, and looks forward to seeing where God takes them later in life.

Mike and Alex met at a Cru weekly meeting and quickly developed a bond. Alex's interests in hockey, music, and serving at Cru made it easy for them to become good friends. Mike appreciates being able to count on Alex during their time in Cru's Men's Ministry and for all of the memories through sports and good fellowship. Alex's humble attitude and overwhelming kindness make him an impactful man in Mike's life.

Mike's oldest friend and only brother, Billy, have gone through a lot together. Everything from painting him blue when they were toddlers to working at Sheetz together have cultivated meaningful experiences that will be cherished for a lifetime. Billy's unique sense of humor and love for family make it easy to call him a brother.

Informally known as Cob, Jake and Mike have become very close friends over the last few years. They also met at Cru, where Mike reeled him in through a game of hacky sack (among other things). They have maintained a strong friendship that was built on growing closer to Jesus, and continues to thrive to this day. Cob's sense of humor and extreme competitiveness make him easy to call a friend.

Yet another Jake in this mix who is arguably as competitive as Cob, he and Mike met at Cru and they quickly became friends. Jake's inquisitive nature and ability to convey theology in a way that makes sense to new believers helped pave the way for bringing Mike to where he is today. They continue to maintain a strong friendship post-college and stay up-to-date with each other's lives. Mike values and respects Jake's strong theological knowledge, in addition to his willing-to-tear-his-ACL-in-frisbee competitiveness.

The third and final Jake in this party was the first Mike met, at a Cru social gathering. They both attended an event to get frozen yogurt and didn't know anybody else, thus a friendship was born. As they both grew in their faiths and got further involved with Cru, Mike and JT became very close in each other's lives. JT's kind nature and drive to be a better man make him another one of the most impactful men in Mike's life.

Big Dale was also a part of the birds aren't real discussion, but luckily that didn't prevent he and Mike from becoming friends. His intentionality in facilitating spiritual growth is one of the most impactful parts of Mike's spiritual journey. Big Dale has a strong understanding of theology and is just as strong in being a dependable friend. His commitment to growing alongside Mike makes him invaluable in Mike's life.
