Hemphill Burns Miller Family wil host this year's Lake Annis Flower Show Location: Camp Mooswa wedding tent Theme: Maritime Registration and delivery of entries: 1:00 - 2:00 Voting: 2:30 - 3:30 Results and Award Ceremony: 4:30 Categories: Artistic Use of Natural Materials Humor Adult: 19 & up Youth 13 - 18 Child 12 & under At 10am, the wedding flowers from the Burns Miller celebration will become available for all participants to use for their flower show exhibits. Please feel free to visit the tent between 10am and noon. For Registration, all adult entries will be general entries, and eligible in all categories. Adults and youth will receive voting ballots for each of the three categories. The 2024 Lake Annis Flower Show Award for Best in Show will be given to the entry that receives the most votes. Children will vote for children's entries only. This Flower Show has been going on for over 60 years and all are welcome to participate. Each year there is a theme that instructs the entries to give there best shot at three different categories. Humor, Best Use of Natural Materials, and Artistic. For each category, there is an Adult section and a Youth section. Fun for the whole family. This year, post-wedding celebrations, all flowers from the wedding are free game for all to use in their entries! So if you are able to stick around, even if you don't want to enter, come enjoy the flower show. Snacks and drinks are provided.
