Alex and Alessandra met during orientation at UVA medical school. They were paired together to write a skit for the first week of school and became fast friends! Who do you think texted who first??

A year later, they moved into their first home together, sometimes accompanied by some (un)friendly critters. Together (mostly Alex), we learned how to trap a mouse, get rid of a tarantula, and coax a snake into a garbage can. Life was certainly never boring at 301 Paton Street!

Our COVID era - full of Tiger King, Love Island, home workouts, and several failed baking attempts. From Clorox'ing our groceries to classic Saturday night shenanigans with the Givens, COVID made the heart grow fonder!

Medical school eventually came to an end and what a perfect way to celebrate with our second half in Mexico! Our first international (kind of) trip was full of beach volley ball, tacos, pina coladas and memories to last a life time.

Match Day finally arrived.... Moments before Alessandra incorrectly read her match day email and thought they would be 500 miles apart. Only for Alex to correctly read the match day letter leading them to New York for residency!

Graduated from UVA Medical School!! Although it may have been the actual hottest day of the year, wearing layers of graduation robes with your best friend is worth it.

Moving Day! Driving a U-haul through NYC certainly has its challenges (especially for those directionally challenged - Alessandra) but was worth every wrong turn so Alex and Alessandra could live together while completing their residencies!

Year two of residency made even better by getting engaged at our favorite apple orchard in Charlottesville Virginia surrounded by the world's best apple cider donuts! Let the countdown to the big day begin!
