Like many great modern love stories, ours started with a swipe. In May 2019, we matched on Tinder--proof that sometimes the right person really is just one bad dating app conversation away. After a few messages, we decided to meet in person. Billy, without hesitation, drove over an hour to see Alex after she finished a long double shift waiting tables. Together they dined at the local, and well-loved Philly establishment, Chickies & Petes. We talked, we laughed, and somewhere between the crab fries and awkward first-date nerves, we both knew--this was something worth holding onto.


Over the next couple months, things only got better. We made it official at Bisco, a music festival complete with tight RV quarters, hot and humid weather, and the kind of chaos that can make or break a relationship. Luckily, it made us. 


From there, we built a life together. Alex became a part of Billy's circle of close friends (a.k.a. The Squad) like she had always been there. Billy earned the love and trust of Alex's friends and family almost immediately. In December 2020, we moved in together and have been sharing the same apartment in Delaware ever since--filled with laughter, shared routines, binge worthy TV shows, and video games. 


In June 2021, we adopted Leia, our sweet, lovable dog who quickly stole both of our hearts (and most of the bed). She's been along for the ride ever since, adding her own personality to our story.


Then, in August 2024, Billy proposed in Lavallette, NJ, the beach town where Alex spent her childhood summers. It was the perfect setting--quiet, meaningful, and full of memories. That day marked the start of our next adventure together. 


Now, we're so excited to celebrate our wedding in Doylestown, Alex's hometown, surrounded by the people who've watched our story unfold and supported us every step of the way.
