There is an abundance of things to do in Vienna, so this list will be limited to Alexandra's favorite spots and top recommendations!
Hofburg Imperial Palace: main palace compound in the city, surrounded by beautiful gardens which are a must see (Volksgarten in particular will be in fully bloom in July, do visit!)
Schönbrunn Palace is about 30 minutes outside of the city, but is comprable to Versailles in Paris in size and garden scope. Definitely recommended!
The Belvedere Palace (pictured): Smaller, but more opulent palace in the city, gardens are beautiful to walk through and it houses the Gustav Klimt Museum.
The Kusthistorisches Museum is one of my favorite art museums in Europe. For any classical art lovers, this is a must visit.
The Schatzkammer or imperial treasury is another fun museum to get a better look into Vienna during the Austro-hungarian Empire.
Cafe Culture is essential to the fabric of the city and I would really recommend visiting some!
Cafe Central is touristy but very much worth the line, Cafe Landtmann is another classic, and Cafe Eiles is Alexandra's favorite local spot.
There are so many beautiful churches here, but top recommendations to visit are Stefansdom (the city's cathedral), Peterskirche, and Karlskirche.
