It was Spring of 2010 when a great love story began. Two people, seemingly fated to find and love one another, met for the first time. Toria poria poo pie pants and Kelsey met at Georgia Tech through band and promptly devised a plan. They both had younger siblings and a desire to be siblings themselves. The plot... I mean, plan was hatched. Now they just had to wait for the perfect time

Several years later, they saw an opportunity. Toria approached Ally after the end of a rocky relationship encouraging her to talk to "a sensitive meteorologist", even just to be friends. Ally was hesitant but after seeing a picture of said meteorologist, she was more amenable to the chats. Jay on the other hand, was instructed that he would be speaking to an "amazing girl" and decided to wait to see what she looked like until he knew her.

With Ally's approval, Toria gave Kelsey a number to pass along to Jay- it was happening! Her sister's number was in Jay's hands, and they were about to meet and talk for the first time!

"Hey. This is Jay. Kelsey's little brother." a message pinged and lit up Toria's sister's phone. Christina noticed the message on her screen and redirected the self-described "little brother" to the intended sister-Ally. In classic Victoria fashion- an unplanned sabotage.

While Ally had been sold on Jay as a romantic interest, Jay was told not to presume- just approach her like a friend. I won't lie, comedy ensued. Ally immediately liked him; he was charming, smart, humble, capable, funny, and *full* of compliments. Jay apparently had decided not to look at what Ally looked like, deciding to see if he liked the person she was first. The comedic, brilliant, caring, honest, down to earth and real woman on the other side of the phone. They spoke every day all day for months, eventually they realized they had both been exclusively speaking to each other the whole time, so...

They wanted to call each other their partner, but they had never met face-to-face. They needed to meet, and the sooner the better. Ally booked a flight out to San Angelo, Texas (AKA Middle. of. nowhere.) Due to the Prince Travel Curse, Ally's flights were delayed enough that Jay was late getting back to the final show- he had to drop her off at the house with a White Pizza and the television tuned to his station. They spent the weekend(reminder this was a first date) enjoying each others company and could finally say they were in a relationship.

After several more visits and roughly a year of dating, Ally was accepted into SGU and knew her location wouldn't be particularly important for the year until she started vet school, the couple decided to take the leap- from long distance love to living together... in one day. Ally drove out with the three cats and the couple settled in, living together for a year, they'd never been happier, despite their location.

Quickly after moving in together, Ally needed a dresser- as the crafty people they are, they decided to build it together. This was not the first time people had called something a test in their relationship but this was the first time someone called it "The Real Test". They had a blast and their relationship was categorized by "Real Tests" from that day on, ones that continue to push them together and build their bond.

After furniture building came going on vacation to Mexico with Ally's family(Prince's are ALOT), then moving together, bringing the three cats and their whole lives to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Then came moving Ally to Grenada, heartbreaking goodbye and all, immediately followed by a 7 day quarantine together in a tiny hotel room, then a long distance relationship across international borders with few and far between short visits (even during school breaks), all the while Jay supported Ally with vet school and devastating family tragedies. The most recent "Real Test" was establishing the family with the three cats... and new dog(when did that happen??) in Grenada. Every test has only proven to them that their love makes these tests fun. They're so grateful to face their Real Tests together.
