The FAQs

What is the Dress Code?

It is HOT y'all; while the waterfall keeps the area much cooler than it would be otherwise, this is still June in Georgia. We'd love folks to dress semi-formally but keep temperature in mind please, we want you to enjoy the day!

When do festivities begin?

The party will be arriving on Thursday and having some sleepovers. If coming on Thursday makes the most sense for you, please reach out to the bride or groom, we will happily invite you to join us, no need to be hanging out alone. There will be a welcome party/wedding shower on Friday, 06/21; the main event, the big white wedding day is Saturday 06/22 at the Falls, we cannot wait to see y'all there.

Are my children invited?

Unfortunately, due to space constraints we can only invite children of the immediate family and wedding party. We love your little family members and are happy to invite them to the welcome party. You can look under travel for nannys and sitters in the area.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We're currently planning on the open bar being for beer, wine, and our specialty cocktails!

Do I get a plus one?

If your invitation specifies that you will receive a plus one, you will have a plus one. If you are in a committed relationship and are not given a plus one, reach out to the bride or groom and we *may* be able to accommodate them

Is this wedding outside? Is there a rain plan?

The ceremony will be outside in front of the stunning backdrop of hightower falls. The rain plan is to wait it out for approximately 30 minutes and if the rain continues, the ceremony will be moved inside to the reception hall-in this situation guests will be seated at their dinner table during the ceremony.

Where will I be updated on all things wedding?

Please refer to the website with any questions you have! If you have suggestions- we will have a portion of the website under The Reservations- where any wedding/design/plan suggestions can go-please do not message us directly, we've got a lot of brilliant and opinionated folks in our lives and want to have a central place to see your ideas! Finally, if you have any questions that can't be answered on the website, you can reach out directly to the bride or groom.

Will this be an unplugged ceremony?

Short answer, no! Please be respectful and make sure your phone or camera is not getting in the way of our professional photographers, but beyond that, snap and post away, we're so excited to see the night through y'all's eyes.
