Our Story
Engagement
July 3rd, 2023. The Big Engagement.
This was definitely a dream proposal! We went on a cruise to the Bahamas July 2nd, 2023-July 9th, 2023. July 3rd, the second night of the cruise, Bryan proposed to me during our fancy dinner night. We were surrounded with many great family and friends, also, many people on the ship that were also in the dining room. It was quite the surprise! He knew it would be a dream proposal of mine to propose on a cruise, especially the one we went on. He did it and the engagement was so beautiful. He made the dream proposal happen, and we got to celebrate the rest of the week. I was in complete shock for awhile, he got me good! May I say… God is so good!
Officially Together!
After a few months of getting to know each other, talking, going on dates, Bryan asked me to officially be together on May 9th, 2022. He drove us to LCBC Church (where I used to attend but currently work at), and he set up his phone and recorded the moment on a tripod. I had my eyes closed up until this moment. I opened my eyes and saw we were on the stage of the place I got baptized at, and have had a big part of my journey at. Reason being, this was where he wanted to start our journey together as we are pursuing a Christ-Centered Relationship. Later that day, we ended up going to a nice restaurant and celebrating finally being official!
