Our story began during spring break 2020 at a mutual friend's lake house. Little did we know, while the world seemed to be ending due to the pandemic, our journey together was just beginning.

After our memorable first date at BJs in College Station (where Andrew jokingly called Alexis a cheap date for ordering off the kids' menu), lockdown separated us—Alexis to Frisco and Andrew to Katy—until we could return to school in Fall 2020. That summer was spent getting to know each other through texts until we were reunited in College Station.

Andrew officially asked Alexis to be his girlfriend on September 22, 2020. Since then, we've both graduated from Texas A&M University, relocated to Arizona, and explored the world together, which brings us to our engagement.

Andrew proposed on May 1, 2024, in a small private garden outside the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The proposal came in the middle of our Europe trip, where we visited London, Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona.
