Jacob and Alexis started dating way back in 7th grade. Since then they have gone to school dances together, each others sports games, graduations, college parties, and everything in between.

Back in 7th grade when they first started dating, Jacob first made his interest known when asking Alexis if he could wear her Santa hat. Her response was memorable when she said "only if you don't have lice." After Christmas break, right before a school dance, Jacob asked Alexis out in front of some lockers, with Alexis' response also being memorable saying "sure."

While in high school they went to each others sporting events, school dances, band concerts, and spent a lot of their time together. They even earned the title of Snowball Prince and Princess and Prom King and Queen.

While going to colleges hours apart, Jacob and Alexis would make trips to see each other. Jacob experienced what living in downtown Syracuse was like and Alexis went to more log jobs than she can even remember. Jacob met his best friends while at college.

Since college, Jacob has started his own business and Alexis has become a radiation therapist.

In March 2023, Jacob had a surprise trip planned for Alexis for her birthday. They stayed in a cute little Airbnb near Jim Thorpe, PA. While seeing the sites, Jacob kept insisting that they go see a waterfall that he had seen online. The next day they hiked to the waterfall in between rain showers, and that is where Jacob pulled out the ring and popped the question. Since then they have enjoyed wedding planning together.

They have also gotten the best little fur baby, Poppy, and purchased their first home. They truly are each others best friends and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
