Our Wedding

Our story begins at West Chester University, when Sami was a junior and Alexis was a sophomore. We went on a first date to Texas Roadhouse on Valentine’s Day of 2018 and then a week later Alexis was going to Sami’s soccer formal with him. We spent many nights watching Disney movies, Netflix, random TV shows or just talking and getting to know each other - we became inseparable in a short amount of time. On March 17th, 2018, we made things official. Throughout college, we were each other’s biggest supporters - Alexis was at every home soccer game of his senior season and traveled to Pittsburgh to watch Sami play in the NCAA Division II National Championship. We spent many nights at the bars in West Chester, at soccer parties, and lazy Sundays recovering and watching the Eagles play. Go Birds! After college, we moved into together, still living in West Chester while figuring out new jobs and life after graduation. In May of 2021, we decided to get a Cavapoo puppy, Cleo. She truly became such a light in our lives that we didn’t even know we needed. Alexis got her MBA in December of 2021, and Sami got his Masters in School Counseling in May of 2022. After almost a whole year and a half of begging, Sami finally agreed to dog #2. In June of 2023, we got a Cockapoo puppy, Percy. He is a terror, a cute one, but we wouldn’t trade him for anything. On July 20th, 2024, in Mexico Sami laid a bunch of pictures out on the beach of our memories over the years and got down on one knee and proposed. Alexis’ mom, stepdad, two sisters, and her sisters' boyfriends were all there to celebrate the moment, which made it that much more special. After the proposal, we FaceTimed Sami’s parents who were so happy and then went to dinner with Alexis’ family. It was truly an amazing night. We feel more ready than ever to take this next step in our journey together. After 8 years of dating, we can’t wait to embrace married life. We can’t wait to continue to grow, laugh, cry, celebrate, smile, and do it all together. Drumore Estate is the perfect place to begin our next chapter - from the formal gardens with butterflies lining the aisle, to the grand tent where we get to have our reception, eat dinner, and honor our love story with all of you. We can’t wait to celebrate and make so many more memories!

Bride's younger sister who is very kind and hardworking with a heart of gold that shines through in everything she does - especially in her work as a teacher to little ones. Her patience and dedication inspire me everyday. I couldn't imagine saying "I do" without her standing beside me. 

Madelynne Wishneski

Bride's baby sister and go-to Disney travel partner. She is wild at heart, free spirited, and endlessly kind. Her adventurous soul brings so much light and laughter to everyone around her. From all of the random Facetime calls to endless laughter, she's the best RunDisney partner and dogsitter to Cleo and Percy. We couldn't imagine this day without her. 

Aubree Lonsinger

We first became best friends in college, and the bond only grew stronger over the years. Brunch dates, book club, and reminiscing on nights out in college at WCU are some of my favorite memories. One of the sweetest parts of our friendship is that our dogs are friends too (love Mr. Oak) - playdates, and walks in the park are such a highlight now that she is back in WC! Having her stand by my side on this day means the world.

Courtney Buff

Bride's cousin who has always been there for her no matter how long they go without seeing each other. She is kind, hardworking, and free-spirited. Her positivity and energy inspire everyone around her and having her by my side on this day is one of the greatest gifts.

I have known Sammy since I was born, and she has always felt more like an older sister than a friend. She's been a constant presence throughout my life - someone I've looked up to, laughed with, and learned from over the years. One of my earliest memories is being a flower girl in her wedding (and crying because I thought I would never see her again after she was married), which makes it incredibly special to now have her standing beside me on my own big day. I'm so grateful for her love, guidance, and unwavering support - I couldn't imagine this moment without her!

Samantha Campadonico

We met in college and quickly discovered we were soul sisters at heart. She has one of the kindest souls I've ever known, always offering love and support. From late nights in the bars at West Chester, to endless laughs and unforgettable adventures, she's been my rock through it all. I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without her by my side.

Charlotte is the perfect mix of sweetness and silliness. She has the kindest heart, the gentlest spirit, and a smile that can light up any room. We feel so lucky to have her sprinkling joy down the aisle on our special day!

The groom's older brother is more than just a sibling; he is a built-in best friend, bound by a connection that only they can truly understand. He is the unwavering presence in his corner, a constant source of support who shows up no matter the circumstance. On this important day, there is no one else the groom would rather have standing by his side as his best man.

Jordan Phelps

More than a teammate and more than a friend, their connection is a testament to the unbreakable bond they formed in college. He is a constant source of support, a person who means so much to the groom that he would drop everything for him. When it comes to someone who is genuinely invested in his happiness and success, there is no one else he would want standing next to him on this momentous occasion.

Andrew Slater

Since they were just teenagers in high school, their friendship has been an unshakable constant. Having navigated so many of life's milestones together, he has long been considered a member of the family. He is, and always will be, a brother to the groom, and this special day is just another amazing event they'll share and reminisce about for years to come.

This is a friendship forged in high school and strengthened by life's ups and downs. It's the kind of bond where a single conversation can bridge any gap in time, making it feel like they were together just yesterday. From those high school days to this amazing moment, he is a constant presence in the groom's life, and a person he couldn't imagine not having by his side for this amazing day.

He is a friend from high school whose bond with the groom has only deepened with time. Their connection is filled with a lifetime of shared experiences, moments they can laugh about for hours on end. He is the person the groom could call at any moment, certain that he would drop everything to help. Distance and time are meaningless to their friendship; it's a bond that will remain strong forever.

We have room blocks reserved at DoubleTree Resort By Hilton Lancaster for 8/13–8/15 for our out‑of‑town guests. If you plan to stay longer or are coming just for the wedding day, feel free to reserve a room. If you’re only staying the night of 8/14, you may request early check‑in when booking and then follow up on the morning of arrival by calling the hotel after 9:00–10:00 AM to check availability; the earliest check‑in time they can accommodate is typically around 2:00 PM, and we wanted to ensure guests have time to check in before our 4:00 PM ceremony start. A shuttle will run from the hotel to Drumore Estate before the ceremony and back to the hotel at the end of the night. More information will be available regarding the shuttle closer to the date - check back for details! Book by July 15 to receive the discounted room block rate.
