Rhodes is accessible via their International Airport (RHO). Flight time from Athens (ATH) is estimated at around 1 hour. The airport is located ~15 minutes away from Old Town. You can also reach Rhodes by ferry from Athens and other Greek islands, however this will take much longer.

Many airline carriers have direct flights to Athens. Some international airlines also fly in and out of Rhodes. Two smaller airlines that have Rhodes flights are Aegean Airlines and Sky Express. Flight example below.

Rhodes has many great areas to stay and many choices in types of stay. It matters not if you choose a big hotel/resort, a boutique hotel, or an airbnb. Staying in Old Town will allow you easy access to the wedding events and wonders of this ancient island. The wedding will be held in the Kallithea & Faliraki area which contain fabulous beaches and has many stay options. Ialysos also has many great hotel options. Lindos has amazing sites to be seen, however it is about an hour drive from the other areas (we recommend that you see Lindos before or after wedding events). Please note that Rhodes has many beaches with beach clubs. So if you choose a location not on the ocean, you will have many options to enjoy the Mediterranean sea.
