Where it all began…
Over five years ago, we started off as just roommates. Doing our own things and going our own ways. One day, we decided to just try things out and see where it went. And well, as you all can see it’s blossomed into such an intense love and we couldn’t be any happier! Our first big outing together was family Christmas with her family. Everyone was warm and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for more! Another Christmas outing later with his family, and we were hooked!
First Year…
Our first year together was crazy to say the least. Covid hit, our first apartment together, she shaved her head to better her mental health, we got a kitten (Anastasia), we went on our first birthday vacation together to Richmond (during heavy Covid times so not much adventuring there), the list goes on. We can’t even remember everything that went down! Our love grew stronger, and with having to stay home because of Covid, we developed a new love to being home and celebrating small.
Another year later…
It’s now 2021, and things are getting “back to normal” haha! He got a new car, she got a new car, another new kitten (Bean), a birthday trip to Natural Bridge, she lost her great grandmother, moved back to her grandparents house, she got promoted to Supervisor, he got promoted to Manager, our first camping trip together, first time hosting Thanksgiving, and a new puppy (Pinto)! Second year down and still going strong! Growing our “family” one animal at a time!
Third times a charm…
Fast forward, not many accomplishments during these times unfortunately besides growing our love, working our butts off, camping trips, vacations, all that jazz. We gained a nephew, she lost her great aunt, Covid is finally subsided. Some highs and lows within the family, but nothing for our relationship together. There’s nothing we can’t handle when we’re together!
Year Four to Present Day…
These last two years we’ve decided to throw together because not much really happened during year four! We had extra fishing trips together and bonded more over our love for fishing and being outdoors!
Year five though has been very eventful! Firstly, she lost her Papa George, which was a big hit for us mentally. Time went by and we decided to take a wonderful vacation to Atlanta! And lastly, we got engaged in October of 2024! We kept things secret, like under lock and key secret. Not a soul was told besides our photographer who took our beautiful engagement photos in November! Then came our five year anniversary and we finally felt comfortable with telling the world about our engagement and ready to start wedding planning! We cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of you and to start a new chapter in our lives of marriage and growing our love even more! We also want to thank you all for being part of our love journey and special thank you for all family and friends who have supported us and loved us even when our relationship wasn’t as traditional as others! We appreciate everyone so very much!
