If you wish to skip this event, please RSVP No. Haldi ceremony is a preparation ceremony for the wedding. This ritual is usually done the day before the wedding. It is carried out by the bride and grooms’ sisters, aunties, and friends. This ceremony involves applying a paste made up of turmeric, sandalwood and coconut oil on the face and body to bring out a natural glow.

The guests will then attend a gathering which will include traditional Indian music, dance performances & rituals carried out by the bride & grooms’ mothers & sisters. The bride & grooms mothers carry out a prayer ritual where they pray to mother earth & Lord Ganesh, seeking blessing & a successful wedding. The sisters’ of bride & groom will do rituals & receive offerings.
