Our Wedding

Alfonso and Payaal met online at peak COVID-19 Lockdown. They got to know each other and discovered a shared love of food. This prompted Alfonso to ask Payaal out on a date.&nbsp; After their successful first date, Alfonso and Payaal felt an instant connection. They wanted to pursue their relationship.&nbsp; Now they have immense love for each other and cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together.

Indian ceremonies and its symbolism Haldi ritual Haldi ceremony is a preparation ceremony for the wedding. This ritual is usually done the day before the wedding. It is carried out by the bride and grooms’ sisters, aunties, and friends. This ceremony involves applying a paste made up of turmeric, sandalwood and coconut oil on the face and body to bring out a natural glow. Talwan &amp; BhatwanA gathering which will include traditional Indian music, dance performances &amp; rituals carried out by the bride &amp; grooms’ mothers &amp; sisters. The bride &amp; grooms mothers carry out a prayer ritual where they pray to mother earth &amp; Lord Ganesh, seeking blessing &amp; a successful wedding. The sisters’ of bride &amp; groom will do rituals &amp; receive offerings. ShaadiThe shaadi ceremony will consist of an Indian wedding (duration of ~1 hour) followed by rituals.
