Hulda Crooks Park

Another good option for walking, hiking, or picnicking.

Oakmont Park

This is a six-acre estate featuring a Victorian chateau and Italian Renaissance-styled garden. The house was built by Cornelia Hill in 1897. In 1905, the home was bought by John Alfred and Helen Cheney Kimberly. The house and garden is used for tours and social events.

Kimberly Crest House & Gardens

Big Bear Lake is one hour away from Loma Linda, CA. It is 20-25 degrees cooler in the mountain/lake area compared to the desert valley. There's hiking, canoeing, kayaking, camping/glamping, and mountain biking available around the lake. Big Bear Village is near the lake and includes quaint shops and restaurants for locals and visitors.

It is known as the happiest place on Earth. Alicia agrees wholeheartedly.

Disneyland Park

It is directly next to Disneyland. One could say it is the second happiest place on earth.

Disney California Adventure Park

LA and its surrounding areas offer many activities. Some popular sites are listed below:-Museums: The Getty, Griffith Observatory, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Warner Bros. Studios-Theme Parks: Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm-Beaches: Long, Newport, Huntington, Malibu, Laguna, Santa Monica, Dana Point

It is known for its Joshua trees and expansive desert beauty.

Joshua Tree National Park

This is a popular tennis tournament held annually at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden (March 4-17, 2024) near Palm Springs. Many top-ranked tennis players qualify into this tournament. Ground or stadium tickets can be obtained for daytime and/or evening matches.
