We met through mutual friends in early 2022 at Wichita State University, where our paths crossed through a Christian ministry group. Over time, our lives became more intertwined through shared activities and growing friendship. It wasn’t an instant spark but a gradual blossoming of interest, as we spent months in congregated involvement and spiritual growth.

When we finally shared our feelings, we both knew the importance of waiting for the right moment and the maturity to move forward. On October 12, 2023, we took a leap of faith, trusting in God’s plan for our lives.

It wasn’t long before we began dreaming about a future together. We spent our time learning about each other’s goals and passions, aligning our paths for a shared life of service to the Lord. Our relationship has been enriched by studying scripture, creating art, making music, diving into current events, and building deeper connections with our friends and families.

We are deeply thankful for the community that has supported us, and we pray that through our union, we will continue to be held accountable in our faith and grow as dedicated followers of Jesus.

Nos conocimos a principios de 2022 a través de amigos en común en Wichita State University, donde nuestros caminos se cruzaron en un grupo de ministerio cristiano. Con el tiempo, nuestras vidas se entrelazaron más a través de actividades compartidas y una amistad creciente. No fue un flechazo instantáneo, sino un interés que floreció poco a poco, mientras pasábamos meses involucrándonos en comunidad y creciendo espiritualmente.

Cuando finalmente compartimos nuestros sentimientos, ambos entendimos la importancia de esperar el momento adecuado y alcanzar la madurez necesaria para avanzar. El 12 de octubre de 2023, tomamos un paso de fe, confiando en el plan de Dios para nuestras vidas.

Desde entonces, no pasó mucho tiempo antes de que comenzáramos a soñar con un futuro juntos. Pasamos nuestro tiempo aprendiendo sobre las metas y pasiones del otro, alineando nuestros caminos hacia una vida compartida de servicio al Señor. Nuestra relación se ha enriquecido estudiando las Escrituras, creando arte, haciendo música, discutiendo eventos actuales y profundizando nuestras conexiones con amigos y familiares.

Estamos profundamente agradecidos por la comunidad que nos ha apoyado, y oramos para que a través de nuestra unión, sigamos siendo responsables en nuestra fe y crezcamos como seguidores dedicados de Jesús.
