Our wedding is at an all-inclusive resort, meaning that all food, drink, and use of the facilities (minus the spa and water sports) is included with your room fee. Enjoy a day by the pool chatting with friends, relaxing with a good book while enjoying a cocktail, or take a walk down the beach to the marina and enjoy shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. You're visiting for the wedding, but we want you to enjoy vacation time on your own as well!
The beach area directly behind the resort is not safe for swimming due to riptides. However, Medano Beach, a public beach about a half mile walk away from the resort, has a safe swimming area and is generally not too crowded. Glass-bottom boat rides, jet ski rentals, and parasailing are available from here. Massage booths are peppered throughout the stretch of beach between here and the resort. Occasionally vendors will be present selling items such as blankets and hats and offering horseback rides.
