‘Twas a beautiful day in March 2021, when Aline and Matt met on an app called Tinder. After a few days of talking, Matt realized Aline’s location said 5,200 miles away; Aline was in Brazil. Aline was coming to the U.S. on an exchange and was looking for a friend to show her NYC. Matt was happy to oblige.

After a few weeks of talking and FaceTimes lasting over 8 hours, they both knew this would be more than a friendship.

In July of 2021, Aline finally came to the U.S. and after her COVID-19 quarantine, finally met Matt in person in August.

After over a year and a half of adventures and time well spent, Matt asked Aline to marry him on March 24, 2023; to which Aline said yes.

On July 14, 2023, Aline and Matt got married at the Port Jefferson Village Hall among friends and family.

July 14, 2024, Aline and Matt have their 1 Year Anniversary and Vow Renewal Ceremony at the Old Field Club.
