Our Wedding

Andy and I first met shortly after graduating UNCW but&nbsp;while both working in&nbsp;real estate. With the right timing in each of our lives and a 10 year friendship, we finally went on our first official date the&nbsp;summer of 2014. Our relationship&nbsp;began to grow while&nbsp;friends/co-workers began to ask lots of questions. For several months we&nbsp;kept it a secret to see if we were&nbsp;a good fit. Together we&nbsp;made so many amazing memories and knew that our&nbsp;relationship was something special. Our&nbsp;friends weren’t even&nbsp;surprised when we&nbsp;decided to announce that they we are&nbsp;dating.&nbsp;Fast forward several years and many memories as a party of three . . . .

On Christmas of 2018, all of the presents had been opened and wrapping paper covered the floor. We&nbsp;started to play with Natalie&nbsp;and her new dollhouse. The entire morning was&nbsp;captured on video&nbsp;but I&nbsp;noticed Andy trying to set up his phone to record a little bit more. I&nbsp;thought it was silly until Andy announced that there was one last gift to open. I turned as he held&nbsp;a small red box in his hand. I&nbsp;cried&nbsp;and hugged Andy tightly. I&nbsp;quickly snatched the box out of his hand. I&nbsp;was so excited that I&nbsp;pulled the ring out of the box and slipped it on my&nbsp;finger&nbsp;not realizing that I&nbsp;had stolen Andy’s thunder. It was the moment I&nbsp;had been waiting for. Andy asked me to marry him&nbsp;as&nbsp;Natalie watched the whole moment unfold. Natalie describes the moment "as the time my mom&nbsp;cried, laughed&nbsp;and sweated&nbsp;all at the same time". After Christmas when we&nbsp;returned home Andy also gave Natalie her own ring. It was the most perfect proposal and a Christmas we&nbsp;will all cherish forever.&nbsp;
