Our Wedding

Robert and I first started talking through the dating site, OkCupid. He was the only guy to comment on the content of my profile rather than what I looked like, I immediately knew that he was special. We exchanged messages for about a month before spontaneously deciding to meet at a music festival in Pico Rivera on April 25th, 2015. Robert quickly taught me about the superiority of breweries in our area, and I took him to his first Renaissance Faire! We bonded over our love of nerdy media, from superhero movies to tabletop gaming and the more we learned the more we found fun in learning about each other interests. We decided to cohabitate in early 2018 and at that point I knew I wanted to build a life with this man. In May 2020, we welcomed our first child, our son Liam! Shortly after Liam was born we moved cross country to upstate New York. In October of 2022 while in California celebrating Roberts grandmothers birthday Robert asked me to marry him, to which of course I said yes. Then in December of 2023, we welcomed our daughter Aurelia! Robert is always up for an adventure, which is good because we never seem to do anything by half measure, and is not afraid to push me to do or try things I have a keen interest in. The more time we spend together the more we come to love and appreciate our strengths and perspectives on the world. I can't wait to see what adventures our future holds.

Brittany and I met through Mickey Fox (our dearly departed 3rd musketeer). We connected quickly and through all the ups and downs we have always shown up for each other. She's my soul sister in every way!

Despite being his young brother Robert often finds himself looking up to Paul. His sense of humor and charisma seem to bring the best out in people and make them feel like they can be their best selves. When asked Robert said, "He literally inspired me to become a father, in many ways, he's not just my best man, but THE best man".

Cassie and I met around the same time Robert and I started dating. Her sense of humor and heart of gold quickly became my favorite things about her, even if she's a Taylor Swift super fan.

Kevin has been Robert's best friend for well over half his life now. Their brotherly affection for one another is so prevalent that even their respective mothers claim each of them as their own. He's always provided Robert with a home away from home that even to this day I have Robert's number listed in my phone as "Robert / Kevin's House". No amount of time or distance can keep Robert from calling this man a lifelong friend.

Amber and I have been friends ever since that one night we did that one thing in the place with the people. Our shared love of each other has been a constant these past years and although we are separated by a great distance the pet reels will remain eternal.

"One of my earliest memories of Brett is being the only 2 kids in computer class that were actually there to learn about computers and not just to play Counterstrike [like the other students]" Robert recalled. They bonded over their shared love of Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy 7, and the "power of all metal". While Robert is unlikely to pass on an opportunity to call Brett a massive nerd, it is always said with the utmost affection.

If you are flying into Albany International airport there are a variety of car rental locations within the airport that will be in walking distance or provide shuttle service however we will also provide an off-site locations for those of you coming in from the city. There seems to be an enterprise rent a car near the 2 main Amtrak stations closest to us (Schenectady and Rensselaer) though they still may require a pick up from the station via bus or ride-sharing app.   I'm also adding some links to airbnbs if you perfer that to a hotel. This hotel is centrally located and within 15-20 minutes of the airport. There is plenty of nearby dining and attractions with access to both of the local malls at Colonie Center and Crossgates.

Similar to the Century House the Comfort Inn is apart of the Choice family of hotels and will share similar amenities. Also 15-20 minutes from Albany International and located near Colonie Center and Crossgates.

Comfort Inn Latham - Albany North

This hotel is 10 minutes from Albany International airport and offers 24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport. This hotel is also directly located on Wolf Rd. which has various restaurants, an easy 5 minute drive to Colonie Center and easy access to Interstate 87 aka "the Northway".

Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport

This is the closest car rental location from the Schenectady Amtrak Station at 2.1 miles from the station but you will need to take an uber or lyft to get there.
