Robert and I first started talking through the dating site, OkCupid. He was the only guy to comment on the content of my profile rather than what I looked like, I immediately knew that he was special. We exchanged messages for about a month before spontaneously deciding to meet at a music festival in Pico Rivera on April 25th, 2015. Robert quickly taught me about the superiority of breweries in our area, and I took him to his first Renaissance Faire! We bonded over our love of nerdy media, from superhero movies to tabletop gaming and the more we learned the more we found fun in learning about each other interests.
We decided to cohabitate in early 2018 and at that point I knew I wanted to build a life with this man. In May 2020, we welcomed our first child, our son Liam! Shortly after Liam was born we moved cross country to upstate New York. In October of 2022 while in California celebrating Roberts grandmothers birthday Robert asked me to marry him, to which of course I said yes. Then in December of 2023, we welcomed our daughter Aurelia!
Robert is always up for an adventure, which is good because we never seem to do anything by half measure, and is not afraid to push me to do or try things I have a keen interest in. The more time we spend together the more we come to love and appreciate our strengths and perspectives on the world. I can't wait to see what adventures our future holds.
