Who's up for an iconic hike along the cliffs of the Pacific?! This hike is rated moderately challenging and takes on average 3 hrs to complete. It's 7.5 miles in total, but we may cut it short after all. Plus, John will have a first aid kit just in case someone gets an unwelcome cut or scrape. Sterile technique is kind of his thing, after all.

John has secured 16 spots for a quick nine holes at the re-designed short course on the Pebble Beach Property. Forgiving but undulating, The Hay offers a fun challenge to players of all skill levels, and what better way to prevent getting "cold feet" than by walking the greens?

Clubs are available for $10 in a light carry bag. Contact John for greens fees and groupings.

We have several tables reserved in the outdoor garden at Folktale Winery, where the bride, family, and friends will be enjoying artisanal plates together with select wines from Folktale's local vines. The winery is approximately 20 minutes from Mission Ranch, and a rideshare such as Uber or Lyft is a very convenient mode of transportation. Sample brunch options: cheese boards, avocado toast, flatbreads, pastries, and wine pairings (all reasonably priced).

Afterwards, we will go winery hopping!

There's an option to grab breakfast at Katy's Place (on Mission St. between 5th & 6th Ave) beforehand. Alison and family will be there at 9:30 am. They have a classic menu of eggs, bacon, coffee, pancakes and more. Come early if you’d like to join — it's casual, and always worth the wait!

John has secured enough tee times for 16 golfers at an iconic golf course along the majestic Pacific: none other than The Links at Spanish Bay.

He will start in the first group, hoping to moving back every few holes to eventually play with each golfer. Par is definitely a score to be proud of out here!

The Pebble Beach courses utilize a shuttle system, and note that there is no driving range at Spanish Bay. It is recommended to arrive at The Practice Center (3260 Stevenson Dr, Pebble Beach, CA 93953) beforehand to warm up, then take the 15 minute shuttle to Spanish Bay. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, so plan to be on the shuttle no later than 30 minutes prior to your tee time!

And yes, the day-after-golf outing has received the bride's official blessing.
