Please call the hotel directly to reserve under the Roncevich/Russo wedding hotel block. Stay dates can be adjusted and the block rate will still be honored. There will be a shuttle service provided for all guests that will pick up at the hotel and transport to the venue. The shuttle will run from 3 PM to 3:45 PM to the venue for wedding transportation. Hotel guests have access to the following: - Private Beach Access -Complimentary Beach Chairs, Umbrellas & Beach Towels -Hotel Parking -Heated Swimming Pool -Complimentary “Grab & Go” Continental Breakfast -Quick Access to Island’s Free Trolley Stop

Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort 

Sit back, relax, enjoy the view and leave the driving and parking to someone else. Hop on and off as often as you like. Several trolleys loop the island from Coquina Beach on the southern tip in Bradenton Beach up to the City Pier in the City of Anna Maria on the northern end of the island on a daily basis. The trolleys also run on most holidays. Early birds will be excited to know island trolley service starts at 6am from both ends of the loop. Trolleys typically run at 20 minute intervals until 9pm, then every 30 minutes until 10:30pm. (times may vary due to unforeseen incidents, traffic conditions or weather) You’ll never be far from a trolley stop, you can usually find them every two to four blocks. With 35 northbound and 35 southbound trolley stops, it’s easy to get anywhere you want to go on the island. For a list of all the trolley stops, route and time table, pick up an AMI Chamber of Commerce island map at the Chamber office, the visitor kiosk at Manatee Beach or at various businesses around the island. Anna Maria Island Free Trolley 

The Monkey Bus is a fleet of small busses that transport both locals and visitors anywhere you want to go on Anna Maria Island. If you enjoy your ride, please tip your driver generously. It shouldn’t be a problem, because we live to show you a great time. We’ve been a fixture on the Island for close to two decades, but are under new ownership as of June, 2022. We have added new busses and features on an almost weekly basis, improving what was already great. Our company doesn’t just give you a ride, we take music request, answer any questions about the Island, will take you to the store or just about anything else you can think of.  Parking is difficult on our small Island, so leave the car at home, relax and leave the driving to us while you wave at the palm trees! To book your ride, call us at (941) 565-6542

AMI Locals 

The Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is the closest airport to Anna Maria Island. It is only about a 30-minute drive.

Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ)

Tampa International Airport is a little farther away than Sarasota-Bradenton International. This airport is about an hour drive from Anna Maria Island.

Tampa International Airport (TPA)

When flying into PIE, you are only a 45 minute to an hour drive from Anna Maria Island. You will fly right into the center of Tampa Bay, about 9 miles north of downtown St. Petersburg

St. Pete- Clearwater International Airport (PIE) 

The Tortuga Beach Resort is another local beach hotel located next door to the Silver Surf. We do not have a hotel block here but guests and easily walk to the Silver Surf to access our wedding shuttle transportation.

Historic Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach is one of Anna Maria Island’s favorite areas for shopping, dining, and poking around town. It’s a place where people gather to eat, shop, and play, and for seasonal and community events. Bridge Street is a walkable community that offers you incredible water views from both the pier and other areas along the shore, as well as ample opportunity to shop and dine. End a day of shopping with a scrumptious meal or a surprising cocktail.

If you want to have the taste and feel of Old Florida, the Rod & Reel Pier is the perfect place to visit while on Anna Maria Island. Here you can see many locals fishing. The water is so clear that you can observe some wildlife from the pier – a school of fish, dolphins, and many different species of birds. If you are lucky, you can also see manatees. Be sure to head out to the Rod & Reel during sunset hour for an unforgettable view! For a small fee, you can fish right off that pier.

Pine Avenue combines shopping, the ocean, and local eateries all within one mile. Here you can go shopping for clothing and jewelry. You can also grab a quick bite to eat and try the famous donut at the Donut Experiment. Pine Avenue also has many famous landmarks to visit.
