Historic Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach is one of Anna Maria Island’s favorite areas for shopping, dining, and poking around town. It’s a place where people gather to eat, shop, and play, and for seasonal and community events.
Bridge Street is a walkable community that offers you incredible water views from both the pier and other areas along the shore, as well as ample opportunity to shop and dine. End a day of shopping with a scrumptious meal or a surprising cocktail.

Welcome to Slim’s Place. We’ve been voted Anna Maria Island’s number one sports bar because we’re a great place to take the entire family out for lunch or dinner.
We are Philly guys with a Philly style sports bar. You can catch every Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers game here! Come out wearing team colors to show your support!
If you want to have the taste and feel of Old Florida, the Rod & Reel Pier is the perfect place to visit while on Anna Maria Island. Here you can see many locals fishing. The water is so clear that you can observe some wildlife from the pier – a school of fish, dolphins, and many different species of birds. If you are lucky, you can also see manatees.
Be sure to head out to the Rod & Reel during sunset hour for an unforgettable view! For a small fee, you can fish right off that pier.
