Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

RSVP's are due by September 13th, 2025.

Where is the venue?

The ceremony and reception will be located at Nature Pointe in Tijeras, NM. The address is 30 Nature Pointe Dr, Tijeras, NM 87059.

What are the directions to get to the venue?

Google Maps directions work well, but if you need it: Leave Albuquerque on I-40 Eastbound, travel 10.8 miles (10 minutes from Tramway Blvd & Central Ave) to the Zuzax Exit #178. At the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp, turn right. Turn left (East) on HWY 66/NM 333, and travel 2 miles to Five Hills Road. Turn Right (South) on Five Hills Road. Go 0.1 mile and take a sharp right (West) onto Sedillo Road (First street on right). Go 0.4 miles, and turn left (South) onto Avenida Alegre Rd. Go 0.2 miles to Nature Pointe Gated Entrance. Turn left (East) at Nature Pointe entrance. Gate should be open. Travel on Nature Pointe Drive for 0.5 miles to Clubhouse on left.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin PROMPTLY at 3 PM, so we expect all guests to arrive earlier. You can arrive as early as 2:30 pm. We recommend leaving wherever you are staying in Albuquerque by 2:15 pm.

I need help getting to and/or from the venue. Can I get a ride?

Email us at least three days in advance and we'll set you up with a carpool!

Where should I stay while I'm in Albuquerque?

If you don't already have a place to stay, we recommend staying in a hotel along I-40, east of I-25. There are a variety of hotels in the $75-150/night range east of I-25 that will be less than half an hour away from the venue. There are also many ~$100/night hotels near the airport that will be ~30-40 minutes away from the venue.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and a cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and then the reception will be held indoors.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. We'd like our guests at least slightly dressed-up but comfortable for dancing. No jeans or sneakers, but ties and dresses are not required.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Yes, but include them on your RSVP!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes, and they do not count as a plus-one, so you can still bring someone else along as well.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll have chips and salsa as well as a bistro display during the cocktail hour. At dinner, we'll have enchiladas (chicken or cheese), lemon pepper chicken, wild rice, vegetables, and a southwestern salad. For dessert we'll have Chantilly cake as well as a s'mores bar.

Are there options for guests with specific dietary requirements?

If you have any specific diet requirements, please let us know in the RSVP! If needed, our caterer will prepare a dish that specifically meets your requirements.

Will there be a bar?

We are planning to have a cash bar that will be available for the cocktail hour and most of the reception.
