We ask that you make arrangements for any children under the age of 4 for the ceremony. The ceremony is a sacred time inside the chapel and we want that to be the focus. Any and all are welcome at the reception!

Yes! It was important to us to marry in a church, so our ceremony will be at 3:00 inside the chapel where we attend, Houston's First Baptist Church. The reception will begin at 4:30 at Evelyn's Park Conservancy, giving you time to leisurely make your way there.

Houston's First Baptist Church sits right at the intersection of I-10 and 610 Loop. The chapel is on the side of the church with the large fountain wall (facing I-10 frontage road). Park in the north parking lot (facing I-10 frontage road looking at the flags) and walk up the front entrance lined with flags. The chapel is just off to the left as you walk up the sidewalk.

Parking for the reception is across Bellaire Blvd at Bellaire United Methodist Church. A police officer has been hired to assist people in crossing. There is also limited parking (subject to availability) directly behind the venue, accessible off of Newcastle drive. We ask that this be reserved for the older guests. You can also drop people off, if you so desire.

Guests will begin to arrive at 4:30 while family take photos. Appetizers will be passed as well as sparkling water and punch served. Please enjoy the live music, and catch up with people you may not have seen for awhile! The bride and groom will arrive between 5 and 5:30 and the reception will officially start! Food stations will open, and people can mingle, dance, and eat to their heart's content! We believe the evening will wrap by 8:30! Hope that helps you plan! :)

Masks are not required, but we will provide black masks for any guests that would feel more comfortable to create a streamlined look for photos.
