We hope you can make it and join us for our wedding at the Sterling at Arrowhead!
Once upon a time, our story began like all fairytales do with a right swipe on tinder and a corny pick up line. Throughout the first few days, we couldn’t stop talking to one another and our phone calls and Facetimes lasted for hours on end. We had our first “date” together running last minute Christmas errands and Alli was not one bit worried getting into a stranger’s car to go driving. And although not a formal date, it felt like we had known one another for years and were just running our daily errands together. A few days later, Alli found herself in the unfortunate situation of being completely locked out of her house in the middle of a blizzard with windchill below zero. She had no gas in her car to drive elsewhere, all the power was out in the Brockport area and no stores or gas stations were open. With her tank of gas dwindling and the fear of freezing to death sinking in, she asked the guy she had only known for a handful of days if he would be willing to drive in the snow storm to come get her and, like a knight in shining armor and without hesitation, he came to her rescue. With Alli’s family not being local, she wasn’t going home for Christmas because she had to work and instead was planning on spending it alone. When Zach’s family found that out, they immediately insisted she spent it with them even though they had never met. It was a great visit and they loved her right away. At the time, Alli had a 16 month old daughter, Avery, and prior to Zach meeting her, Alli wanted to make sure we were serious. Zach met Avery and she very quickly became an important part of his life. Alli supported Zach’s Disney addiction and agreed to plan a trip together after officially dating for only a few weeks. A week before leaving for our trip, Alli surprised Zach with the news that we would be adding a new member to our family. In August of last year, we had a planned photo shoot for being halfway through the pregnancy and although we knew we wanted to spend forever together, Zach still had one question to ask Alli. He asked her to marry him and she instantly said yes. Fast forward to today, we have an adorable baby boy, a 3.5 year old and like the ending to all good fairytales, they all lived happily ever after.
