July 25, 2025 • Chicago, IL

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP on our website no later than Monday, June 16th!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Black Tie Optional - feel free to wear a tux or full length gown but if you want to be less formal, a suit or cocktail dress works just as well! Colors and patterns welcome!

What are the details for the day after event?

Keep the celebrations going on Saturday with cocktails and lite bites on the river front at Smith & Wollensky from 2-5pm. Attire is dressy casual.

What should I wear to the night before event?

Declan's is a laid back Irish Pub so feel free to keep your attire casual!

Is there group transportation to the wedding or reception?

Since guests are invited to stay wherever they'd like, there will not be group transportation to the wedding or reception. For those driving, there will be street parking available at both the church and reception venues but you're encouraged to take Uber, Lyft, or taxi services if you'll be drinking!

Who should I tell if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Hopefully you let us know when you RSVP'd but if you missed that part, please let Allie or Jack know so we can take care of it!

I'm not from Chicago, what should I check out while I'm there?

Chicago has so much to offer! Check out a Cubs game - Kansas City plays at Wrigley Field 7/21-7/23 and they play the White Sox at Rate Field that weekend. Take an architecture boat tour on the river - one of my favorite activities for out-of-towners! A great way to see the city and learn a bit about it too. Go shopping on the Magnificent Mile - shop til you drop along Michigan Avenue that offers over 400 retail stores. Check out the local food scene - Chicago has amazing restaurants and bars. Eat your way through the West Loop or take in the views at one of the many rooftop bars the city has to offer! Be the ultimate tourist and visit the Skydeck at the Willis Tower - stand on a glass balcony on the 103rd floor of Chicago's tallest building and see the city from a new perspective! Take a walk along the lakefront or hang out on one of Chicago's beaches - Get your steps in with a stunning view of the city or take a dip in Lake Michigan. Visit Navy Pier - take a ride on the Centennial Ferris Wheel, play arcade games, or check out the shops and restaurants the pier offers with a lakefront view.

Are plus ones or children allowed?

As much as we would love to invite everyone, only those listed on your invitation and in your party when you RSVP will be able to attend.

I'm flying in from out of town, what airport should I use?

Both O'hare and Midway are good options and not far from the city. Each has an L train that you can take into the city so that you don't have to splurge on an Uber or taxi. Take the blue line from O'hare or the Orange line from Midway!
