While both were born and raised in Maryland (Allie on the Eastern Shore and Brian in Silver Spring), Allie and Brian’s story didn’t begin until they matched on Bumble and Allie walked into a pole on their first date at World of Beer - the rest is history. They had their first Lightning game, concert, and Halloween together before Brian left to work in Germany for a month.

Brian agreed to run a half marathon with Allie for her birthday. Brian and the rest of the family celebrated Allie’s graduation from the University of Tampa, and she joined Del Rosso’s annual Fourth of July gathering in Ithaca, NY. Both celebrated New Year’s in Brian’s new house before toilet paper shortages and lockdowns changed the world.

This was mostly a year of stay-at-home orders due to the pandemic, but Brian and Allie eventually made it down to Key West before bringing home Scout!

The world reopened and Allie and Brian enjoyed taking Scout to all the beaches and bars around Tampa! Allie moved in with Brian and they traveled north for family and friends’ weddings over the summer.

Allie and Brian bought their first home together and moved to Seminole Heights! Allie thinks Brian was going to propose on their family fishing trip, but it wasn’t until August 26th that he popped the question on a staycation at the Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach!
