Allie and Mike (aka Shorty to many of you) met on their first day of training at DMK Burger Bar in Chicago, Mike as a manager & Allie as a host.


TALE AS OLD AS TIME (#IYKYK)


The two became close friends over the years, and in 2019, at the dawn of COVID & lockdowns, when the dating scene in Chicago couldn't possibly have been more dire, the two-- Mike having finally woken up to how amazing Allie is, and Allie realizing that dating apps are a creep-fueled nightmare that she wanted no part of (and that Shorty was pretty fun most of the time)-- decided to give it a try together and the rest is history.
