Allison & Kelly met at a WeCoach conference in Denver, Colorado. They sat either side of one poor sole. They had two conversations (Both of which kelly doesn't remember) the entire time they were in Denver, Colorado.

The first was about Allison's love for Swedish Fish...the second was about all of the connections we had... Cuse, Boston their love for the number 2!! They left Denver not even as friends... little did they know...

Allison texted kelly before she made a transatlantic flight to the US. Kelly decided to pay the extra 30 Euros to chat with Allison.... Allison sent Kelly a music playlist to help h er pass the time.... and at 35,000 + feet... listening to the song "What are you listening to?" By Chris Stapleton... kelly said to herself "Who is this woman?". And thus their song was born!

July was filled with trips back and forth to Boston & State College as Allison & Kelly's friendship turned to that head over heels (obnoxious) love.

Kelly & Allison often refer to their times together as "stolen moments' with hectic team schedules...they found their favorite spot in Boston. The hidden gem that is the Hyatt Regency Harborside Hotel in Boston.

Allison was there for Kelly in one of her toughest periods of her life.

Allison became Kelly's rock...even if she did make her walk 5 miles, around Boston, soon after surgery...

Through Allison's unconditional love...Kelly became sure Allison was the one.

Kelly & Allison celebrate their first valentines day. Kelly surprised Allison with music, a three course meal and wine!!

Right before covid hit... Allison and Kelly got to share THE CUSE with each other. Kelly worked at Syracuse University for 4.5 years. Kelly claims to know Syracuse better than Allison as she hadn't spent much time there since leaving for college. Kelly & Allison often talk about how many times they must have passed each other or family members. Thus the connection with the movie the "Lake House" was born.

Kelly made the trip to spend time with Allison for spring break...with the pandemic...this ended up being a 5 month long spring break trip...and their relationship would be put to the test!

The couple thrived and grew to love all of the things that make each other who they are...flaws and all!

Quiet moments alone dreaming about their future. One of the magical things about Kelly & Allison is more often than not they always seem to be on the same page... Sometimes just with a look...they don't even have to verbalize it. They challenge each other when needed... and have both found a partner that values life similarly.

Kelly & Allison get to bring in the new year together for the first time!

Kelly makes a big decision to quit worrying about what people think and be brave... she chops off most of her hair... with Allison pleading..."Please keep some curls"... to which Kelly replies with... "I'm sure supercuts can get that done." Allison horrified... and then soon realizes... Kelly is just half joking about getting her dramatic haircut at supercuts.

The pandemic was actually some of Kelly & Allison's favorite times together... because they just got to be in their own little bubble.. A short trip away in the woods to get back some of that bubble time.

The pandemic took its toll on everyone.... Kelly & Allison have always felt the most at peace when in each others presence.

Allison had desperately wanted to meet Kelly's family in person and spend some time in England.

Allison got to meet almost all of Kelly's immediate family.

Allison also got to witness what its like to be a hopeful England supporter... only for your hopes and dreams to come crashing down... time and time again. This picture was taken before England's demise.

With covid restrictions in place... Ian Lawrence leapt at the challenge to give Allison as much of London as possible. The couple essentially took a personal taxi for 2 hours around all of the top tourist sites. Probably one of the best tours... Kelly has even been on.

Kelly & Allison shared their favorite spot with Tori Christ (One of kelly's best friends...and one of the officiants).

Kelly maintains that Allison spent the week in Boston...faking her out with a proposal. Wouldn't this have been a fantastic night for a proposal?

With one last day in Boston... Allison decided to propose at one of Kelly & Allison's other favorite spots to watch a Boston sunset... Castle Island in Southie! Allison pulls out the ring on its own... and kelly puts the ring on as fast as possible... out of fear the ring may fall in to the rocks... she then said yes.

Allison made a quick trip to Boston during season and Kelly decided this was the day to give Allison her ring. Of course the location had to be the Hyatt Harborside and the backdrop of the Boston skyline. Right before Kelly was due to give Allison her ring... the manager came out with Champagne from Kelly's parents... to celebrate their recent engagement back in July... Kelly was scared Allison would guess that she was going to get a ring... but fortunately she was none the wiser.

Allison picked out a ring from the same jeweler where her mother, Nancy, got her ring from.

Kelly moves in (State College)... and Allison moves to China! Kelly didn't get the hint.

Everyone that knows Allison was so proud to cheer TEAM USA on and TEAM COOMEY on... even with the early hours and late nights! Allison had to fill many roles during the Olympics including assistant coach and scout coach. TEAM USA won silver!!

Finally... Allison came back to Kelly. And the house didn't burn down while she was away.

Big moment for the Lawrence & Coomey family. A bonding trip in State College... all of the in-laws under one roof. They had a great few days together...before covid hit Kelly's parents. Great memories to cherish though.

Kelly was fortunate to be on staff with Penn State for the past year. The team won a B1G Ten Championship and reached the NCAA Sweet Sixteen! Kelly came home to champagne and a wall of celebration!

Allison & Kelly feel so grateful to have the kind of family support that they have!

Kelly accepted the Head Coach position at the University of Delaware and Allison's family surprised her with Blue & Gold T shirts.

Kelly & Allison make the trip home to England for Kelly's sisters wedding! A second chance of seeing London for Allison. They made the most of the trip and had the most magical time.

Kelly made the trip up to State College for Senior Day and surprised Allison during the team's post game skate!

Shockingly this was Kelly & Allison's first time skating together... Kelly blames Allison. Allison was also very surprised to see that Kelly was a decent skater!

Most of Kelly & Allison's relationship has been long distance... after a year in State College together...its back to the long distance rhythm of facetime/zooms!

February stretch of Allison's season and Kelly starting a new job would be the longest time a part since 2019! Something the couple does seemingly with ease... but they're always happier when together.

Before the CHA championships... Allison had threatened to take down the championship wall... and Kelly stated that WHEN Allison Won a CHAMPIONSHIP ... then the sign could come down (Kelly was never in doubt). We made an edit to the celebrations wall... Coomey delivers again!

Penn State Hockey wins the Regular Season AND Conference tournament! The FIRST TIME in PROGRAM HISTORY! A lot of blood, sweat and tears has gone in to the last 6 years and we couldn't be prouder!

CHAMPIONS!!!

Allison & Kelly spending quality time together after two long but rewarding seasons; championships, new job and a move... it has been a lot! Phone calls and meals are now monopolized by wedding planning. We cant wait to celebrate with you all! The couple hope that you will join them and spend a fantastic couple of days in Boston with as their two worlds collide even more.
