FAQ’s

Are kids invited?

Any child that is invited will be indicated by the number of guests accounted for on the RSVP page. If there is a question, please reach out to the couple.

Will I awarded a plus 1?

To keep our celebration intimate and within budget, not all guests will receive a plus one. Your invitation—and the RSVP page on our website—will show how many guests are included for you. If no additional guests are indicated, then no plus one has been given. We kindly ask that any additional spots be first reserved for spouses, partners, or children to insure that invites have been distributed properly. Thank you for understanding as we celebrate with our closest circle. If there are any questions, please reach out to the couple for clarification.

Where can we stay?

There are cabins on the property, however, due to limited space these will be by invite only. We wish we could have everyone stay and party! The nearest hotels are in Vandalia and are ~30 mins away. Please feel free to come back to join us for our farewell brunch on Sunday!

What to know about the venue?

As you have noticed, the wedding will be hosted at Camp Maranatha! The couple is SO excited as both have ties to the place, and Allison grew up going every summer for over 10 years! There will be plenty of added fun to the wedding day considering the uniqueness of the venue! During the reception, guests will have access to camp amenities, such as a 3 story slide, basketball court, children’s playground, octoball, various board and card games, ping pong, foosball, and much more! All of this will be in addition to the usual reception festivities. The couple encourages everyone to take advantage of these opportunities and have as much fun as possible! Please keep in mind the generosity of the camp owners and be respectful of the equipment and grounds. The couple expects all guests to have fun, but also pick up after themselves.
