Our story starts on the rooftop pool of the Aretson hotel in Nashville, TN on the Fourth of July in 2021. Sparks were flying from Predators games, backyard concerts and Gumbo parties to evening walks at Centennial Park, you could say it was fireworks from the start!

Fitz had planned to proposal on my 30th birthday, but I threw a wrench in his plans by telling him I didn't want to share my birthday with any event and he proposed on my 30th birthday trip instead- which was magical! We were skiing in Breckenridge, CO- if you would call the bunny slope skiing. Once I graduated from the beginner's hill, I was feeling good on the Green and saw Fitz waiting for me. When I skied up to him, he said "You know how much I love you" and whipped out a ring. Our future groomsman, Preston, was filming the entire thing!

As if that wasn't enough, Fitz threw me a surprise engagement party at our future groomsman, Liam's, house on New Year's Eve. It was the second best surprise I've ever had and was put together with the help of so many incredible friends and family, namely our future bridesmaid Colleen!
