Flying to PDX (Portland, OR)

We are so stoked about having all the people we care about in the same place. We even MORE appreciate those traveling across the country to come see us.

Due to how many of you will be flying out of PHL, we'd love to coordinate a flight from PHL to PDX (Portland) for a majority of you to be on, as well as leave on.

Please contact Michael before booking flights out of PHL so we can get you up to mountain with ease.

For those flying in from places other than PHL, please reach out and we'll try to coordinate carpools for you as well.

Travel from PDX to Timberline Lodge

Timberline Lodge is a mountain lodge & ski area about 1 hour 15 minutes away from Portland.

To save our guests money & limit the amount of cars, we'd love to work out a carpool option between the local Washingtonians & those flying in from other places.

Please reach out to Allison & Michael to coordinate. We'd love to figure out something for you.

I'm driving myself to Timberline!

PDX (Portland International Airport) will have plenty of vehicle options for you to rent for your time here if you need it. Check out Turo as well if you want a particular vehicle.

Important thing to keep in mind, Timberline Ski area is a higher elevation mountain environment in the spring (still winter in the mountains). Due to this, you should ONLY rent a 4x4/AWD vehicle, or be prepared to carry and potentially use tire chains. Plowing is frequent, but don't underestimate a spring storm on the roads. For the Washingtonians, compare this to driving over Snoqualmie on i90 or up the Boulevard on Crystal Mountain. Be prepared!

Check out @the_govy500 on instagram for some examples of the road and winter shenanigans from unprepared travelers.
