Our Location
We are holding our wedding in Butler, Pennsylvania which is a short ways outside of Pittsburgh. Located about 45 minutes north of the city, Butler will be a relatively similar drive for our friends and family coming from central PA. Off several major highways, there are several ways to get to Butler whether you are arriving by plane or car.
Parking
There are several parking options located near the venue. Street parking and the diamond street lot are free on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally there is a paid parking garage at the nearby hotel. Please see the map below for parking options.
Arriving by Car
If you are arriving by car from the central or eastern Pennsylvania regions, you will likely take the Pennsylvania Turnpike until you reach exit 39 at which point you will exit north taking route 8 toward Butler. Route 8 eventually turns into the Main Street of Butler City, taking you straight to your destination!
From the Harrisburg Area, this drive should be about 3.5-4 hours depending on if you live on the west or east shore, respectively. Non-toll routes are also available, though they may take 30-40 minutes longer.
Arriving by Plane
If you are coming from further away, we recommend taking a flight to Pittsburgh and either renting a car or booking a ride share service from the Pittsburgh Airport to Butler, PA. Butler city is about an hour north of the Pittsburgh airport by car. If you intend to explore the Pittsburgh region, busses are available from the airport with a price of $2.75 for two hours of use of the Pittsburgh Regional Transit system. This is a great option if you intend to explore some museums or city overlooks before coming to our wedding. However, keep in mind that this public transit system is local to Allegheny County and does not reach Butler.
