Julie Herndon - Maid of Honor
Julie and I met in graduate school at the University of North Texas. We had career counseling class together and figured out we had a similar area of interest in the counseling field and well the rest is history as we have been inseparable ever since. She instantly became one of my best friends and it is wild how similar we are. She has a heart of gold and I know she always has my back. I couldn't have asked for a better maid of honor/best friend!
Leah Houser - Maid of Honor
I first met Leah in a tumbling class, but we didn't become friends until our junior year of high school as we ran in different friend groups. Fate had a way of bringing us back together and she has been one of my longest best friends since then. She has been there through thick and thin. She is so patient, kind, and caring. I couldn't imagine my big day without her and I am so honored to have her as my maid of honor/best friend!
Kait Christian - Bridesmaid
Kait and I met in graduate school at the University of North Texas. We quickly became close friends and I am so thankful she came into my life when she did. We also survived living together and sharing a bathroom for a year and what an eventful, but amazing year it was. We love to spend time playing on a recreational sand volleyball team together and she is also always down to do whatever and have a good time. She is intentional, funny, and loving. I can't wait for her to stand by my side!
Rachel Whiteley - Bridesmaid
My friendship with Rachel began when we met during our competitive cheerleading days. Although she busted my lip catching me back in the day, I wouldn't have wanted to trust anyone else to catch me. From our cheerleading days to adulthood, she has continued to be one of my longest friendships and one of my very best friends. She is funny, thoughtful, and loyal. I am so happy to call her one of my best friends/bridesmaids!
Emily Cates - Bridesmaid
GO KD! Emily and I met at Oklahoma State University where we were Kappa Delta sorority sisters. She introduced me to so many things that I would have never thought to experience. Any time we are together, we always are going on adventures or trying new things. She is so fun, adventurous, and considerate. Even though we don't live in the same area anymore, her friendship has never wavered. I am so excited to have her by my side!
Madysson Morris - Bridesmaid
GO POKES! I met Madysson at Oklahoma State University as we were both a part of the spirit squads. Madysson was on the OSU Pom squad while I was on the OSU Large Co-Ed Cheer team. We created a lot of memories together, which I will never forget. Even though we are no longer in the same state, our friendship will continue to last a lifetime. She is compassionate, charismatic, and optimistic. I am overjoyed for her to stand by my side!
Jimmy Prasalowicz - Best Man
I first met Jimmy when I came out of the womb. Being my older brother, he has been obligated to be my friend against his will. But in all seriousness, Jimmy has been a great older brother, someone I've always looked up to, and I couldn't think of anyone else better to be my best man.
Bryan Cunningham - Groomsman
Bryan (pictured far right in this group photo because we're bad at taking pictures together) is one of the first people I became friends with when I moved from Philly to Fort Worth. Bryan and I were coworkers together at Lockheed Martin but bonded over brewing beer in his apartment - him making most of the beer and me doing the hard job of drinking it. Bryan has been a great friend to Allison and I through the years and I'm excited to have him as a groomsman!
Luke Demas - Groomsman
Luke has been one of my oldest friends. We went to high school together at Gloucester Catholic, but weirdly enough we didn't become good friends until high school was coming to an end. If you asked both of us how that came to be we probably couldn't tell you. But needless to say, Luke has always been there for me through the years and has been an amazing friend. Despite living halfway across the country from each other now, we always make the time to see each other and pick up right off where we left without a hitch. I'm so happy to have Luke as a groomsman for our wedding!
Austin Miller - Groomsman
Austin and I became friends at Drexel University by being the nerdiest of the nerds and sitting the front of every class we shared together during our Mechanical Engineering degree. What started out as pre-class conversations in the front row of our classes led us to becoming survival partners through an extremely difficult engineering program at Drexel and ultimately to a strong friendship outside of the classroom. Austin is one of the nicest people I have ever met and he is always so fun to be around. Even though Austin lives back in Phoenix, we've always made time for each other and continue to do so despite life's ups and downs. I'm so happy to have Austin by my side as one of my groomsmen!
Patrick Halpin - Groomsman
It took all of the stars aligning for me to meet Pat. Pat's mom grew up with my mom back in New Jersey and eventually moved down to Texas. After I made my move to Fort Worth after college and not knowing a single person in the city, Pat's mom became my "Texas Mom" and I eventually met Pat. However, we didn't become good friends until Allison and I moved in together, but he has been an awesome friend to us ever since. Pat and I both share a common nerd energy that has made it always great spending time with him. Even though he recently moved to Oregon, we still make a point to keep connected with each other. I'm happy for Patrick to get to come back to the Yeehaw State to get the Vitamin D he's been lacking in the Pacific Northwest and to be one of my groomsmen.
Austin Thompson - Groomsman
I met Austin through Bryan Cunningham at our beer brewing events in Bryan's apartment. Austin was one of the first people I met when I moved to Fort Worth. Oddly enough, we found out we lived a couple doors down from each other in the same apartment building. We quickly became good friends from there. From hosting an Area 51 party together, getting a little too drunk sometimes on West 7th and contemplating our existence, to testing our friendship with a good ole fashioned game of Super Smash Bros. that both of us would take a little too seriously, Austin and I always find ways to keep our friendship interesting. He's one of the funniest guys I know and has been an amazingly loyal friend to me through the years. I'm so pumped to have him as a groomsman in our wedding!
Markus Kapfhammer - Groomsman
Markus and I met in college at Drexel University when I joined the Alpha Pi Lambda fraternity. We became friends instantly despite us being several years apart, and he eventually became my "big" in the fraternity, being a great roommate, role model, and mentor for me through my college years for which I'm forever thankful. Markus and I share a common sense of sociopathic commitment to the Philadelphia Eagles and having a good time. Markus is extremely funny, caring, light-hearted, and one of my best friends. I'm excited for him to be one of my groomsmen and to party with him again for old time's sake!
