Our Wedding

Both Allison and Matt will tell you different stories of how they met.&nbsp; Allison claims it was at a pre-game Freshman year of college, while Matt says it was at an AFC&nbsp;Championship watch&nbsp;party Junior year.&nbsp;Regardless, they got to know each other as friends their Senior years&nbsp;of college.&nbsp; Allison graduated and moved to Seattle, while Matt moved to the DC&nbsp;area.&nbsp; It wasn't until a couple years later that they randomly&nbsp;reconnected at a mutual friends birthday party in DC, when Allison happened to be in town visiting friends.&nbsp; Fast forward two years when Matt moved out to Seattle and the rest is history!

HOW WE MET

It was a Saturday in April. Matt wanted to surprise Allison by recreating all their first dates together. He told her they were going to meet some friends to get her out of the house, as she was not feeling well. First, they went to Pike Place Brewery to grab a beer. Then they walked to Safeco Field to catch a Seattle Mariners' game. After the game, Matt and Allison went up to their favorite park and drank a few adult beverages where Matt got down on one knee and proposed...and she said YES!

Ryan and I met at a local basketball camp going into Freshman year of high school.&nbsp;Although Ryan did not like me at first because I&nbsp;beat him in one-on-one, we bonded over the sport as we played Freshman, JV, and Varsity basketball together. We have remained in contact throughout the years. Ryan currently lives with his girlfriend, Ali, and two dogs, in Alexandria, VA.&nbsp;

Caitlin is my cousin and one of my best friends since the day I&nbsp;was born. We grew up minutes apart,&nbsp;attended elementary through high school together, and have more&nbsp;photos dressed as 'twins' than we can count (thanks to our&nbsp;moms).&nbsp; Caitlin currently lives in Boston, MA.&nbsp;

I&nbsp;technically met Vanessa my freshman year of college through the JMU&nbsp;Equestrian team, but we really didn't get to know each other until we had the same riding&nbsp;lesson time our Sophomore year.&nbsp; We spent a lot of time together over the next three years and still keep in touch often despite living across the country from one another, mainly thanks to Vanessa's efforts&nbsp;as we all know I am terrible at keeping in touch.&nbsp; &nbsp;Vanessa lives&nbsp;in West Chester, PA.&nbsp;

Darien and I have known each other longer than we have not, almost 24 years. We met in 1st grade of elementary school and played recreational sports (mostly baseball and basketball).&nbsp;Our rivalry on the field&nbsp;turned into friendship in high school, as we played JV and Varsity basketball together. Post college, Darien and I lived in the DC area and would hang out often.&nbsp;Darien currently lives with his wife, Layne, and son, Hyland, in Ashburn, VA.&nbsp;

David and I met at James Madison&nbsp;University, through Darien. We both were accounting majors and bonded over (multiple)&nbsp;beers about why would anyone want to major in Accounting. David and I lived together in DC. David currently lives with his girlfriend, Kai, and their one dog in Richmond, VA.&nbsp;

Casey, in a way, was a 'random' roommate who moved in my Junior year at JMU.&nbsp; The times we shared at that P-run townhouse were some of my favorite memories in college.&nbsp; 382 for life!&nbsp; Casey currently lives in Champaign, IL.&nbsp;

Like Darien, Max and I&nbsp;have known each other longer than we have not (almost 22 years). We grew up together playing recreational sports. Although we did not play the same sports in high-school, we both loved gaming (super cool) and also each other's sports interests, as I would be his training partner (always on a bicycle), while he would train for his cross-country and track meets.&nbsp;Max currently lives with his girlfriend in&nbsp;Seattle,&nbsp;WA.&nbsp;

Ashley and I were placed in the same dorm our freshman year of college.&nbsp; We immediately clicked during orientation and the rest is history! Ashley and I eventually lived together our Junior and Senior years at JMU.&nbsp; Ashley lives in Denver, CO.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Derek is Allison's older brother. We first met in the Summer after Allison and I&nbsp;started dating. We both are avid sports fans, especially when it comes to football. We share in the love sports and tailgating, as he is the Father of the UNH&nbsp;tailgate. Derek currently lives in&nbsp;Bedford, NH.&nbsp;

Melanie is Matt's older sister.&nbsp; Melanie and I immediately clicked after both realizing we like to poke fun at Matt (sorry&nbsp;Matt).&nbsp; Melanie is also a JMU&nbsp;alumni, making tailgates and times spent together extra fun. Go Dukes!&nbsp;

Three 'First Student Charter' buses will be provided from the Residence Inn by Marriott Concord's&nbsp;hotel to Dell-Lea Weddings &&nbsp;Events, where both the ceremony and reception will be held.&nbsp; The buses will all meet at the Residence Inn by Marriott Concord's parking lot and depart&nbsp;promptly at 4:00 p.m.&nbsp;for a 5:00 p.m. ceremony.&nbsp;&nbsp;All three buses will remain at the wedding until it concludes at 11:00 p.m. They will return to the Residence Inn by Marriott Concord at that time.&nbsp;
