Throughout our relationship, Monterey has been one of our favorite places to visit and celebrate our anniversaries. We hope you will be able to take some time during this weekend to relax, explore, and see some cute otters!

A Taste of Monterey - Wine Market & Bistro

Pacific grove area is beautiful! Lots of places to pull off to the side of the road to stop at the beach.

Asilomar State Beach

Bixby Bridge Vista Point

A classic and beautiful beach to visit. We will often stop for fish and chips at Flahertys Seafood Grill after spending some time at the beach.

We visited this place for the first time for brunch on the way to our venue tour at Carmel Fields.

Beautiful area to walk around and enjoy the views of the bay. Weve also rented bikes from Adventures by the Sea and took the trail all the way to the wharf.

Lovers Point Park

Plan to arrive early to make sure you can get in, especially if going on the weekend. Payment is required to park.

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Old Fishermans Grotto has the best clam chowder! They have a take out stand or restaurant to dine in at.

20 - 25 minutes from venue. Newer hotel we stayed at during our most recent trip. Typically more affordable than hotels in the heart of Monterey.

Hampton Inn & Suites Marina

15 - 20 minutes from venue. Walkable to Cannery Row. Can sometimes have louder sounds from cars on Foam Street.
