Fisherman's Village

Fisherman's Village is Ally's favourite place to stay on the Island. Nestled along Bophut Beach, Fisherman's Village is a charming, historic area known for its rustic wooden buildings and vibrant atmosphere. It is the perfect spot for leisurely strolls, boutique shopping, and savouring delicious local cuisine at seaside restaurants. The village also has a charming ‘walking street’ that allows visitors to enjoy a traffic-free stroll through the area and visitors will find numerous eateries, coffee shops and entertainment zones adjoining the beach. A perfect spot for our friends with young families, or those looking for relaxing days by the pool/beach and an evening stroll into the village at night.

Lamai Beach is an area we know the least about. With only a few visits to the area under our belts, we cannot recommend many accommodation options around the area but would say that this is the area that is closest to Villa Kalyana if you are not staying there. We would recommend only a few nights here before moving on to Fisherman's Village or other areas around the island.
