12/18/23 - The wedding will only be for those 16 and up. The only exceptions will be 4 of the bride's sister's friends. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you but due to numbers and cost, this was the best option for the bride and groom.

2/24/24 - While gifts are nice and we will appreciate anything someone gives. Please note that there is no expectation for you to give anything. Also, we have lived together for awhile and have most of our household needs met. If you would like to help with getting something, please contribute to either a cash fund at the event or one of the funds that you can access online. If you would really like to give a gift please reach out to someone in the wedding party to find out potential items.

8/29/24 - All RSVPs will be due by 3/25/25 so that the bride and groom are able to finalize reservations. If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform the wedding party ASAP.

9/16/24 - Rummage Sale scheduled for 10/12 and 10/13 to save up some extra money towards wedding expenses.

10/5/24 - Update:

At the wedding we will be having different activities/features planned.

1. Lightsaber battles: we will have a first dance then our first battle. The battle is meant to symbolize our fights or battles in the relationship rather than just the lovey dovey happy parts that are shown from the other parts of the wedding. We will have multiple battle songs playing throughout the reception that guests can join in on.

2. Cake in the face game: we will have 2 jars at the dessert table. We will have a point in which we will play a song and guests will have the duration of the song to put money in either the Bride or groom jar. Whichever jar has less money in it, will identify whether the Bride or groom will get caked in the face.

3. Shoe game: the Bride and groom will sit in the center of the dance floor back to back. They each will have a woman's dress shoe and a man's dress shoe. Someone will ask the bride and groom a list of questions and the newlyweds will either lift the bridal shoe or the groom shoe depending on who the question best fits.

4. Talking points: Each table will have a list of talking points regarding the Bride and groom. We will have random facts, memories, or experiences listed so that you will have something to initiate conversations with those at your table.

5. Emergency Kits: We will have emergency kits for the wedding placed in both the male and female bathrooms in case you need anything during the event.

6. Honeymoon Fund: At the gift/guestbook table, we will have a honeymoon fund box. Guests can add money or checks into this box.

7. Custom Decks of Cards Guest Book: we have custom decks of cards that were made and will have each guest sign the face side of the cards.

8. Abstract Canvas Painting: The Bride and Groom want to have their guests help decorate their home! There will be a blank canvas at the wedding and each guest will do 1 stroke on the canvas with the paint provided.

We are sorry to inform you that there has been a change with the date and time of our wedding due to circumstances too complex to go into at this time. We fervently hope this will not affect your ability to attend. The date has been changed to Friday, 5/23 at 4pm for the ceremony and 6pm for the reception. The cash bar will be from 4pm-9pm (bring cash or card). The wedding is still at the Riverhouse Banquet Center (5 Amvet Drive, Mount Clemens, MI). We hope to still see you there!

Cash Bar Update:

We were just informed by the venue that everyone will need physical cash for the cash bar. They do not have an atm on site but there is one across the street if you want to go that route. I have not received set pricing yet for the bar but was told most drinks are $3-4 a piece. I will keep everyone posted as I find out more.

Please note that Elliott and I will be heading on our honeymoon shortly after the wedding. If possible please send your gifts in the mail, set up a time to meet up with us, or if necessary we will have a gift table at the wedding.

While I know it is not customary to not have a wedding shower, we felt it was for the best. If you have any questions regarding gifts or sending money please let me know.

We are a little over a week away from RSVPs being due on 3/31. Please contact someone in the wedding party if you are able to attend and haven't rsvpd already. We will also continue to reach out to those who haven't said if they can or cannot come yet. Please let us know ASAP.

There will be clothes across multiple sizes from children's to 4x. There are also some name brand and vintage clothing being sold as well. If you are looking for set sizes let us know and we can tell you the types of sizes we have!

All profits will be going towards Allyssa and Elliott’s wedding! If there is anything that you are interested in or wanting, let us know and we can set it aside. If you cannot attend, we always can set up a time to get the items to you as well.

Allyssa can accept venmo, cashapp, zelle, paypal, or cash. Allyssa will be sharing pictures of the different items that will be sold over the next few weeks. If you have something you are looking for we can send you pictures directly as well.

As we prep for our clothing sale in April, I wanted to provide an update on how we will run it.

In addition to prices for individual items, we will also have a fill a bag deal for anyone wanting to purchase multiple clothing items.

It will be $15 to fill a grocery bag or $60 to fill a large garbage bag.
