Our Wedding

Below are the descriptions of the types of rooms we have reserved in our room block. Make sure to read through all the text on the "Booking Information" tab to learn how to reserve your stay.

Hacienda Junior Suite

1 King or 2 Doubles and 1 Sofa bed These rooms are set in the middle of the resort in the Hacienda Villas. As soon as you open the door to the Hacienda Junior Suite, you’ll know you made the right choice. The highlights of these suites include access to an exclusive plunge pool and jacuzzi, a private balcony, an integrated living area, free Wi-Fi, and a spacious bathroom with a stylish walk-in shower. The Hacienda Junior Suites comfortably sleep 2 adults and 3 children and are just a short walk away from the beach and main pool area.($319 per night for two adults when staying 5 nights)

Riviera Family King Junior Suite

1 King and 1 Bunk bedSet close to the family pools so your kids don’t miss out on the fun and designed especially for families vacationing in Playa del Carmen, these guestrooms offer a king size bed plus a bunk bed for three children, as well as a spacious bathroom with a shower and separate hydromassage tub. Features a Garden, Pool or Jungle View.($271 per night for two adults when staying 5 nights)

Riviera Family Queen Junior Suite

2 Doubles and 1 Sofa bedThese suites are conveniently located close to the main pool and Lobby Terrace. Soak in the in-room hydromassage tub, and experience a charming tropical setting surrounded by the gardens and family pools of Sandos Playacar Beach Resort. Features a Garden, Pool or Jungle View.($271 per night for two adults when staying 5 nights)

Select Club Ocean Front - Adults Only

1 King or 2 Double bedsThe Select Club Ocean Front rooms are in the exclusive adults-only section closest to the beach. As a guest in this section, you’ll get gorgeous Caribbean Sea views and access to upgraded services and exclusive areas.($283 per night for two adults when staying 5 nights)

Select Club Superior - Adults Only 

1 King or 2 Double BedsThese guestrooms feature a private balcony in addition to our Select Club Adults Only amenities like access to the exclusive adults-only pool area, Select Club breakfast, and two Premium Club bars.($357 per night for two adults when staying 5 nights)

Room Information

Destination Weddings Travel Agent

We have been working closely with Sue Allen from Destination Weddings to take care of all of your room reservations and roundtrip airport transfers. With her help we have reserved a room block with discounted group rates at the resort. You MUST book your stay through Sue via the link below in order to receive the discounted rates and be included in our wedding room block.Please note there is a 3-night minimum stay required by the resort. If you know you plan to attend, please do not hesitate to put your room deposit down ASAP! The sooner you book your room, the sooner we can plan for total number of confirmed attendees.

Deposit Information

All guests should have their reservations made by February 14th, 2025. A refundable deposit of $50 per person or $100 per room is required to make your initial reservation. You will have the ability to make payments on your stay through August. All reservations will need to be paid in full by August 26, 2025.

Hotel Transfers and Airfare

Flights are not included in the room cost. You can book your flight to Cancun through the airline of your choice. Roundtrip shared transfers to/from Cancun airport ARE included in your room cost when booking through the Destination Wedding link below. After booking your room, your invoice will contain a link at the bottom to enter your flight details.Flight details must be entered no later than seven days prior to departure for transportation services to be confirmed.

How To Book

In order to book your room, use the link below. Scroll down until you see the "Select Your Dates" field. We ask that guests please arrive on Wednesday the 12th or Thursday the 13th to ensure flight delays don't keep you from missing the big day! Travel Insurance

Travel protection is completely optional - Destination Weddings does offer a unique travel protection plan that will allow you to cancel your trip at any time prior to travel and provides coverage while on your trip.&nbsp;You will be able to review the options when reserving your room.

How Much Will The Trip Cost?

We worked hard to secure discounted room rates at a budget friendly resort with amenities that will appeal to everyone. In order to view the discounted rates for each room type, please go to the Booking Information tab and select your travel dates.

Do I have to go on specific dates?

No! The wedding is on Friday, November 14th at 5pm, so of course we want you to be there for our ceremony and reception. We prefer that you arrive at least one day, if not two days, prior to ensure travel delays do not keep you from the wedding festivities. The resort requires a 3-night minimum stay to be included in the room block, other than that your stay is completely customizable.

Where are you registered?

Your presence is our present! We understand that a destination wedding costs more for our guests and all we want is to spend the occasion with the people we are closest to. If you are unable to make it to the wedding but still want to send your love, we have a honeymoon fund on the registry tab.

How Do I get from the airport to the resort?

What is the dress code?

The wedding events will be semi-formal dress. Many restaurants at the resort have different dress codes so if you are hoping to visit some of the nicer options, we recommend packing some nice attire for those as well. Other than that, the dress code is up to you but don't forget your swimsuit and party pants!
