Andrew and Alyssa's love story starts like every classic, with a swipe on Bumble!

They matched and talked on bumble for awhile, but once Alyssa corrected Andrew on how many evolutions Evee had, Andrew was hooked! (While the photo isn't from this timeframe, the Pokémon theme seems fitting!)

They went on their first date June 28th, 2021. They went and had burgers and beer at Sickies and then went for a drive! Andrew parked on a gravel road and we just chatted and watched the stars. Before we knew it, it was almost 2am and both of us had to work in the morning.

After our first date we tried to see each other at least once, if not twice a week and spent time getting to know each other. On July 24th, 2021 Andrew officially asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend.

January 14th-21st, 2022 we took our first vacation together and went to Island Park Idaho snowmobiling and Alyssa had so much fun! Andrew had been snowmobiling for about 15 years but she had never even been on one. After this trip Alyssa ended up buying her own sled she loved it so much!

August of 2022 Alyssa started to move into Andrew's house in Valley City, ND. It was a long process as she had her apartment until the end of the month. They moved little by little all while working on updates to Andrew's house. Alyssa fell right into the "Dog Mom" role and Chief loves having her around!

September 2nd-6th Andrew got to take Alyssa to the Big Horn Mts in Wyoming, which would later become a much more important place to us! We spent the trip with Brett and his sister Erin camping, hiking, side-by-siding, and fishing!

February 17th-24th We went back to the Big Horn Mts, this time with the snowmobiles and it was definitely a trip Alyssa will never forget! While snowmobiling on Feb 23rd, a freezing cold day, we all took a break and built a little fire. While there with his sisters and his best friend Brett, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Alyssa to marry him. She of course said YES!! However, Alyssa had to keep herself from crying so her eyelids wouldn't freeze shut on the trail ride back to the trucks!

We are now just enjoying this time together celebrating with family and friends while planning for the big day!
