WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
We recommend cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses and suits and ties. We also kindly request that guests wear black.
Where should I park?
Parking at the venue is extremely limited and we highly recommend commuting in groups or taking an Uber or Lyft from the hotel. If you need any accommodations and need a spot please let us know. You can park at the McCleary Mansion across the street! Please see the Parking Page on our website for information.
Are phones allowed at the ceremony?
In order to ensure that we are all fully present, we will be having an ‘unplugged’ ceremony. We request that you kindly silence all your phones and electronic devices. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer and are happy to share those photos with you! We highly encourage you to take tons of photos during cocktail hour and the reception!
Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?
We aren’t sure, and won’t be sure until the day of. Washington is rainy, and while we hope to hold the ceremony outside, it may take place indoors. Dinner and dancing will take place indoors. The average temperatures for Washington in October are in between 40-60 degrees F, so we recommend a light jacket in case the ceremony is held outdoors.
Are kids allowed?
If you’re invited, then we expect your kids to come, but please include them when you RSVP.
What’s the bar situation?
We are still finalizing vendors but do plan on having an open bar. In return we ask that you have a good time on the dance floor! (& remember to tip your bartender!)
Help! I have a dietary restriction!
We are planning on accommodating gluten free, nut allergies, and vegan/vegetarian guests but if your dietary restriction does not fall into those categories, please reach out so we can plan something for you in advance.
