Our story began back at St. Norbert College when we met at a Halloween dance. Brendan was dressed as an 80s person? (up for interpretation) and Alyssa was dressed as a zombie. Alyssa had about 6 weeks left of college at SNC - so their time together was short, filled with trips to the Abbey and the Long Branch.

After college, Brendan and Alyssa kept in touch through random Snapchats here and there, seeing each other a handful of times.

They met up for New Years Eve in Lake Tahoe, CA in 2016 with a big group of college friends... and the rest is history.

Alyssa was still living in Los Angeles and was figuring out if a move to Denver, CO to be near her brother or Chicago, IL to be near college friends was the right choice. Ultimately, she chose to move to Chicago. Alyssa and Brendan were slow to become "official" in the first few months, but eventually Brendan called Alyssa his girlfriend.

Flash forward to almost 5 years of dating and Brendan got down on one knee at Alyssa's favorite whiskey distillery out in New York near her parents' house. With the Scullys joining, it truly was a magical night.
