The one we like to tell (but is a stretch of the truth):

"I held her feet for a keg stand the day she graduated college" Now, this isn't entirely true as, while she did do a keg stand, and I was there (having never met this woman before in my life) and watched with her parents (Roger and Brenda) some other people who she did know held her feet.

The longer and less glamorous story:

We were set up by mutual friends (Atticus and Lauren). Alyssa was out on the town in January of 2019 with Lauren, Atticus and a few other friends when I received a text inviting me to come out for drinks from Atticus. I worked evenings so late wasn't a problem for me, but I was visiting my aunt (Bean) when I got the memo and she was going through some health issues and I didn't see her as much as I liked, so at her suggestion I went. I was a couple pitchers late, so I volunteered to drive the four of us home. Alyssa and I had a good conversation that resulted in us exchanging numbers. We then proceeded to see each other every weekend for the next couple months (bowling, meeting each others friends and family (more officially than watching a keg stand together), mini golf, dinner and movies, etc.). When her lease was up she moved to a place that was a half mile from mine.
