Our story begins at Norwich University. We met in an architect class, David in the front row, ignoring everyone and trying to excel in class. Amanda sat in the back of the class with her friends and argued with the professor. At first sight, you can tell Amanda and David are from different worlds, but she was intrigued by the way David stood out from everyone else. When Amanda tried to talk to David, he didn’t give her the time of day at first. David thought she was loud, opinionated, and demanding; and a little out of her mind. Amanda, being a complete pain in the ass, wouldn't leave him alone. David, who was grumpy, quiet, and loved being a loner; he just wanted to make it through college. Even though they were very different from each other they were both passionate about their work. Somehow, they became best friends. They would spend all night doing homework, partying like it's 1999, and making fun of all the military students who were, what David calls, “Window Lickers.” They became inseparable and fell in love. It’s been five amazing years and nothing has changed. David and Amanda are still best friends and love each other more than anyone will ever know.
